Our client is a large and very high profile manufacturing FMCG business, located in the Mt Wellington region of Auckland with ample parking on-site.

An opportunity is available for a motivated and focused procurement professional to join a high performing team for a period of 3 months to assist during a period of change. There may or may not be scope to consider further opportunities past this point.

Working under the guidance of the Head of Procurement, we are looking for someone with prior procurement experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing or consumer goods type of organisation, and able to hit the ground running at relatively short notice.

The crux of the role will involve taking ownership of a couple of contracts, drafting these and liaising with suppliers, stakeholders and legal teams to get these across the line. There will also be a requirement to manage some smaller RFP’s from start to finish.

This organisation does offer a fair amount of flexibility around start and finish times, and there is scope for someone to work either a 30 or 40 hour week.
