Our client is a global food processing and packaging company experiencing significant growth and expansion across New Zealand. As part of their continued investment and increasing production capability, we are looking to appoint 4 experienced Production Team Leaders to join their Wiri-based operation.
Operating 7 days a week, these leadership roles will work across a rotating shift roster and play a critical role in leading high-performing production teams within a world-class, highly automated manufacturing environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced manufacturing leaders who enjoy developing people, driving performance, and being part of a business that genuinely invests in professional learning and career development.
The role includes leadership responsibility for teams of up to 30-80 staff, driving production targets, safety performance, employee engagement, quality outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating production teams to achieve daily operational targets
- Managing labour allocation, rostering and production performance
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Driving health, safety and quality standards across the operation
- Monitoring key production and operational KPIs
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Building strong relationships across production, engineering, quality and supply chain functions
- Proven experience leading teams within a manufacturing, food production or processing environment
- Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills
- Experience managing production KPIs, labour planning and performance
- Ability to work across rotating shift patterns
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- A positive attitude and passion for developing others
- Previous experience within meat processing, red meat, poultry, seafood or food manufacturing environment
- Experience working within highly automated production facilities
