About The Role
Lead delivery within a large transformation spanning legacy systems, evolving architecture, and tightly interdependent workstreams. You’ll operate at true programme level — maintaining a whole-of-programme view across delivery, managing interdependencies, and supporting decision-making where trade-offs are real and competing.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Driving integrated programme planning across multiple interdependent workstreams.
- Maintaining visibility of risks, dependencies, and critical path at a whole-of-programme level.
- Enabling governance forums with clear, decision-ready reporting and trade-off analysis.
- Supporting senior leaders to prioritise, sequence, and make informed delivery decisions
- Monitoring programme performance and intervening where delivery is off-track
- Ensuring alignment between legacy environments, transition states, and target architecture.
- Supporting the transition from delivery into business-as-usual operations.
What Matters in This Role:
- Experience working across large-scale transformation programmes, not isolated projects.
- Confidence operating in environments where legacy and new platforms need to co-exist and transition over time.
- An understanding of target state architecture and how delivery sequencing aligns to it.
- Ability to hold a whole-of-programme view - risks, dependencies, critical path - and translate that into clear direction.
- Experience navigating complex organisational structures with multiple stakeholders and delivery pressures.
This role sits within a central programme function, working alongside other Programme Managers, Project Managers, and senior delivery leaders to ensure alignment across the full programme.
