Great 3-Month contracting opportunity at a large Government organization within their Minerals and Petroleum team.
- 3-Month contracting position
- ASAP start
- Intermediate level role
The Minerals team looks after offshore drilling and exploration within New Zealand. The G overnment’s long-term vision for the minerals and petroleum sector in New Zealand supports the strategy for the transition to a low emissions future and a productive, sustainable and inclusive economy.
The Strategy is centred around three themes:
- A low carbon economy
- Growing a productive, sustainable, and inclusive economy
- Social responsibility
You will be supporting the team with Annual Summary Reports, checking of electronic reporting and offering general support to subject matter experts. You will assist with identifying and documenting key statutory processes as well as helping design checklists and other tools to support better execution of processes.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to pick up case information quickly
- Come from a technical background (Geology, Engineering or Science)
- Experience working within government
- Ability to write and communicate clearly and practically
- Business Analysis experience (desirable)
- Resource Management experience or knowledge of the Public Works Act (desirable)
