This is forward thinking engineering consultancy with a growing project management arm that are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a civil engineering background to join the team and play a key role in delivering technically complex and sustainability‑focused infrastructure projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio including geothermal developments, water and wastewater infrastructure, and emerging cleantech ventures.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from early feasibility through to construction and handover. You will work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams, contractors, consultants, clients, and regulators to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end‑to‑end project delivery across geothermal, water, and cleantech projects
- Managing project scope, programme, budget, risk, and reporting
- Coordinating engineering, design, procurement, and construction activities
- Managing contractor and consultant performance
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement in project systems and delivery practices
About You
You will be a solutions‑focused professional with strong technical foundations and proven project management capability.
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong understanding of project controls, commercial management, and contract administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across multiple workstreams in complex project environments
- Exposure to geothermal, water/wastewater, renewables, or cleantech projects
- Experience working in consultancy, owner’s engineer, or client‑side delivery roles
- Familiarity with sustainability‑driven or innovative technologies
