Overview
The property is an iconic Heritage building that’s been around since 1929 and the need for a Project Manager Capital Development has become available. Reporting to the Head of Property services you will be responsible for full client-side project management, primarily these works are of a fitout and building services nature. The Capital Development and Projects team are responsible for implementing and aligning projects with the company’s strategic direction and values.
Key Tasks
- End-to-end project management but with an emphasis on the front-end i.e. project initiation, options analysis, business casing and all design stages.
- Successfully co-ordinate and schedule work to facilitate design, development and delivery
- Manage, monitor and liaise with key contracts and consultants through the ‘build’ phase of projects. Where appropriate manage external PM consultancy resources
- Act as spokesperson for the project team to internal and external stakeholders and serve as conduit of information back to the team
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and accurate
- Develop initial cost, resource plans and overall project plans. Manage the project finances, guide the team to meet budgetary goals, and proactively report on budget
- Proactively report on project risks, anticipate/manage issues and work with the team to mitigate risks in advance
About you
- Minimum three years’ experience in construction project management
- Formal project management qualification essential
- Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements and regulatory authorities
- Demonstrable experience with financial systems, processes and reporting in a project management environment
Salary: $125K - $140K + Benefits
