An award winning main commercial contractor, respected within the construction industry is in a position to appoint a relationship focussed project manager to step in and oversee projects valued in the $5M - $20M region across government utilities, reclads, education, refurbishments, community and housing projects. They have specific projects that require a PM to oversee projects valued between $5M - $20M, from remediation through to new build apartments.
Your areas of focus will be:

Project control and delivery

Staff management of Site Managers

Relationship management and development of client and consultant relationships

Programme management; financial and contractual management, quality control, risk management
The successful applicant will possess a relevant tertiary qualification and/or trade qualification, previous project leadership experience, great interpersonal skills and a thorough level of technical construction knowledge including programming.
This role would suit an applicant in a commercial contractor environment who has particular strength in being able to trouble shoot, identify and sort out problems efficiently. Also top financial management skills are a must. This role could suit a project manager now looking for your next level of career advancement with plenty of challenge.
In return for your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with an attractive salary package, $140K - $160K plus company vehicle and other benefits.
