This is a leading insurance and reinstatement construction business that specialise in undertaking multiple projects within both the commercial and residential sectors.
They operate a small and efficient team that gel together mucking in sometimes to deliver works and meet clients expectations.
They are now on the look out for a project manager that can oversee a host of projects with complete oversight of their delivery.
The Role:
- Control and manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously
- Communicate and negotiate with trades, sub trades, contractors, and the Council
- Attending site meetings with clients, arranging pre tender site visits
- Complete and manage project budgets
- Maintaining records on systems
- Determine a works schedule and strive to achieve completion within required time frames
- Achieve a high quality of finish to building works
- Communicate clearly and regularly with both insured parties and insurers/assessors
- Resolve disputes as required
- Manage OH&S matters
- Obtain all necessary final certificates from trades, engineers and certifiers as required
Your Background
- A minimum of five years site/project management experience with ideal experience in the insurance and reinstatement industry
- A Carpentry trade background ideal
- Experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance related is preferred)
- Strong OSH experience and a commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills
- High-level computer skills
- An aptitude for creating, reading and interpreting scopes of work
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure the highest quality of finishes from your trade team
The role is looking to remunerate at:
$110K - $120K + Vehicle
