An interiors and general main contractor is a market leader in the major interiors, reburb and light commercial construction space. They have major corporate clients and have delivered many B grade commercial property conversions across the CBD.  They also operate with many well known clients upgrading offices and as well seismic projects. They have acted as main contractor across many new build commercial projects as well. While most of their jobs are in the $3M - $7M category, several are higher up $15M. The team are a energetic and work at high pace. Due to several new projects being awarded, they now require a switched on project manager to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of several projects with a team of site managers under you.

The role requires a mix of attending PCG meetings, working with clients side PM’s, contract admin, programme management, scopes of works, managing site staff, coordination and managing projects through to delivery to client. It is a well-rounded role, involving hands on leadership and mentoring.

As an applicant you will have had experience managing projects within the interiors and fit out sector, ideally trade qualified but as well able to manage financial aspects in conjunction with QS. You have an eye for detail and can work with and develop efficient systems. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development skills as well as your ability to lead and drive a team.

This role offers a competitive package up to $140K - $155K + vehicle.
