You will work closely with clients and delivery teams to manage projects across planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Support the delivery of water infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
- Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality outcomes.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare project reporting and monitor performance against key milestones.
- Build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of large, complex, or strategically significant water infrastructure projects and programmes.
- Provide leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Act as the primary client interface and trusted advisor.
- Oversee procurement strategies, governance reporting, commercial management, and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and support junior project managers within the team.
- Contribute to business development, client growth, and project-winning activities.
About You
Project Manager
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- 4-7 years' experience delivering infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
- Experience across water, wastewater, stormwater, utilities, transport, or civil infrastructure projects.
- A tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A proactive approach and a desire to further develop their consulting career.
Senior Project Manager
You will bring:
- 8+ years' experience managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated delivery experience within the water and Three Waters sector.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, procurement, commercial management, and construction delivery.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a client-facing environment.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with asset owners, utilities, councils, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong leadership capability and a passion for mentoring others.
