Job Description
A highly regarded construction company is seeking an experienced and decisive Project Manager to lead the delivery of a commercial projects valued at $60M. The business has an established reputation for successfully delivering complex and iconic projects across:
- High-rise residential apartments
- Mixed-use developments
- Major refurbishment projects
- Hospitals
- Hotels
- Commercial office developments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams through the full project lifecycle.
- Manage relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage commercial and contractual matters.
- Ensure project costs are accurately measured, tracked, and controlled.
- Drive project performance, delivery outcomes, and accountability.
- Maintain strong health & safety and compliance standards.
- Oversee construction programmes and project reporting.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience delivering large Design & Construct or Construct Only projects.
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $30M+.
- Strong knowledge of the New Zealand construction market and legislation.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Sound programming and project planning skills.
- Strong financial and commercial management expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
