Driven by a growing pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects across water supply, wastewater, stormwater, treatment facilities, network renewals, and growth programmes.
Led by experienced Directors who remain actively involved in project delivery, the business offers a collaborative environment where project professionals are empowered to take ownership, build strong client relationships, and accelerate their careers.
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering water infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to construction and handover.
Working directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, budget, quality, and risk objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage water infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion.

Support project establishment activities including feasibility studies, consultant appointments, procurement planning, and consenting processes.

Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams.

Manage project scope, programme, budget, quality, and risk.

Monitor project performance and prepare reporting for clients and governance groups.

Support procurement and contract management processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, utilities, and regulatory stakeholders.

Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client objectives and industry best practice.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

4-7 years' project management experience within New Zealand infrastructure projects.

Experience delivering water, wastewater, stormwater, utilities, or broader civil infrastructure projects.

A tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Experience working within a consultancy, client-side, asset owner, or contractor environment.

Strong understanding of project delivery, procurement, and construction processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.

A desire to build a long-term career within infrastructure project management.
