We’re proud to partner with a highly respected not-for-profit organisation supporting the healthcare sector. This organisation plays a vital role in providing accommodation and support services to patients and families, creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment during challenging times.

They are now seeking a Property Team Lead to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across a key Auckland site.

About the Role

  • This is a practical, hands-on leadership position where you will coordinate maintenance activities, support a small team, and ensure facilities are safe, well-presented, and operating efficiently.
  • You’ll take ownership of day-to-day property operations while working closely with internal teams and external contractors to maintain high standards across the site.
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday | Onsite role
  • Ideally 8:00am – 3:00pm, with flexible start and finish times


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and minor works across the site
  • Supervise and support maintenance and grounds staff
  • Carry out hands-on tasks including repairs, painting, and general upkeep
  • Ensure all maintenance requests are logged, prioritised, and completed
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Monitor property condition and proactively identify issues
  • Support compliance activities including building WOF and safety systems
  • Promote and maintain strong Health & Safety practices
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in property, facilities, or maintenance roles
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong practical skills across general maintenance and grounds work
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
  • Confident working with contractors and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach
