They are now seeking a Property Team Lead to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across a key Auckland site.
About the Role
- This is a practical, hands-on leadership position where you will coordinate maintenance activities, support a small team, and ensure facilities are safe, well-presented, and operating efficiently.
- You’ll take ownership of day-to-day property operations while working closely with internal teams and external contractors to maintain high standards across the site.
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday | Onsite role
- Ideally 8:00am – 3:00pm, with flexible start and finish times
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and minor works across the site
- Supervise and support maintenance and grounds staff
- Carry out hands-on tasks including repairs, painting, and general upkeep
- Ensure all maintenance requests are logged, prioritised, and completed
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Monitor property condition and proactively identify issues
- Support compliance activities including building WOF and safety systems
- Promote and maintain strong Health & Safety practices
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in property, facilities, or maintenance roles
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong practical skills across general maintenance and grounds work
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- Confident working with contractors and external stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach
