Temporary Business Administrator/Receptionist - 6-month Assignment

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
  • Rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

We’re looking for a proactive and professional Business Administrator/Receptionist to join a busy team in Petone for a 6-month temporary assignment. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors—ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth day-to-day operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong reception and admin experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for all staff, visitors, and external contractors
  • Coordinate with contractors to resolve maintenance or facility-related issues
  • Handle incoming calls and internal communication
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required
About You:
  • 2+ years' experience in a corporate reception or office administration role
  • Professional, calm, and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident working independently and picking up new systems quickly
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • A true team player with great time management and problem-solving skills
  • New Zealand Citizenship is essential for this role
