Region Sales Manager

This highly regarded privet organization is looking for a leader to develop their sales strategy team in alignment with the wider company strategy. Hard work is recognized and compensated with an additional 20% of base commission and other benefits.  As the sales manager you will provide strategic leadership, deliver of outstanding customer service, and liaise with other teams throughout the organization. Other duties include:    

  • Develop the regions sales strategy and sales plan in alignment with the overall regional strategy, and in tune with key commercial, business and industry drivers
  • Implement and execute the sales plan for the region to exceed agreed financial, customer, operational and people outcomes
  • Control expenses within budget, ensuring costs as a percentage of sales are efficiently managed
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, including a focus on the region’s top customers, enabling service offers to be adapted to changing market needs
  • Provide information, support, feedback, coaching and development to enable team members to perform to their maximum potential

Qualifications and experience include:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading sales teams is essential, preferably within the trade industry
  • Advanced knowledge of sales planning, budgeting, and operational finance, combined with sound commercial acumen
  • Successful track record of developing and leading high performing teams
  • Strong levels of computer literacy including a sound understanding of integrated ERP systems
