Our client is seeking a Risk and Opportunities Lead who will be responsible for leading a strategic and risk management/ PMO programme in Wellington. This opportunity is available for a 6 month Contract, or someone who is looking for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining the technical and Programme risk framework
  • Preparing and maintaining the Risk Management Strategy and Plan
  • Successful detection of potential threats to the Programme in relation to strategy and delivery, finance, operations, and other key outcomes for the Programme
  • Review, monitoring and reporting of risks and associated measures to mitigate or eliminate these risks
  • Identification and articulation of opportunities for the programme and strategies for capitalising on them
  • Assessment and management of risks from the package level through to the Programme level, including cross-programme workstreams and relationships with partner organisations
  • Oversight of the Programme Assurance Plan and working with other members of the PMO Team to capture programme control risks
