Role: Sector Investment Manager
Duration: 14 Months Fixed term (maternity cover)
Remuneration: $180-200,000 pro rata across 14 months. Alternatively, the hiring manager is open to a contractor on $140-160 per hour
Location: this role could be based in Wellington to Auckland (Wellington preferable, for proximity to key stakeholders)
The purpose of this role is to support the entire investment portfolio - design, develop and manage investments that are aligned to approved bicultural investment frameworks, and deliver on strategic objectives.
You will:
- Lead the development of community/social investment approaches to reach desired outcomes
- Overall Investment Portfolio Management, including recommending the optimum portfolio structure, and coordinating associated forecasts and budgets
- Ensure the development of effective relationships with key stakeholders (external and internal), across the organisation
If you have:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing significant budgets and business processes
- Experience and skilled at working with and providing advice to Senior Leadership, Chief Executives, Boards, and Committees
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, the Treaty of Waitangi
We need this person to bring experience of leading through change – setting strategy and taking that through to implementation. Considering change from the perspective of what needs to change, and how. The Sector Investment Manager will need to navigate different opinions to achieve resolution.
