Senior Advisor – Property Procurement (2 opportunities)
We’re working with a large public sector organisation to recruit two Senior Advisors into a high-performing property procurement function;

• 1x permanent (full-time)
• 1x 9-month fixed-term (full-time)

These are hands-on sourcing-focused roles, sitting within a commercial services environment that supports large-scale property and infrastructure activity.

About the role

• This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the market.
• You’ll lead end-to-end sourcing activity, from early market engagement through to contract execution across a portfolio of property and infrastructure-related categories.
• The work is varied. Some initiatives will be straightforward, others more complex, but all will require solid commercial thinking, stakeholder engagement, and a pragmatic approach to delivering value-for-money outcomes.
• You’ll work closely with internal property teams, helping shape sourcing strategies, test the market, and land commercially sound outcomes with key suppliers.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading end-to-end sourcing processes (market scan → engagement → evaluation → negotiation → contract award)
• Partnering with property stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies
• Providing commercial advice on procurement and supplier delivery models
• Running tender processes and supplier negotiations across varying levels of complexity
• Supporting robust decision making through analysis of cost, risk, and market dynamics
• Contributing to continuous improvement across procurement processes and practices

What we’re looking for
You don’t need to come from a pure public sector background…but you do need to bring strong sourcing capability and commercial acumen, ideally within property, infrastructure, or construction-related environments.

We’re interested in people who bring:

• Experience leading end-to-end sourcing / procurement activity in complex environments
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Sound judgement and confidence providing advice to senior stakeholders
• Experience working with (or alongside) property, construction, or infrastructure portfolios
• A pragmatic approach, someone who can balance process with outcome.

Exposure to public sector procurement frameworks is helpful, but not essential if you can demonstrate transferable experience.
