About the role
A high profile organisation based in Auckland's CBD is going through a period of exciting transformation, and is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to get on board. You will be primarily responsible for providing the business analysis required for the successful development (improvement and innovation) of information systems and processes for the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End to end ownership of requirements
- Planning of BA activities, outputs, techniques and effort estimation
- Requirements documentation; high level, detailed and traceability matrix as required
- Stakeholder and SME engagement
- Gathering requirements
- Supporting good change management discipline through consultation, collaboration and communication
- Identify and support the resolution of weaknesses in and out of the organisation
- Develop, document and maintain complex business models, interacting with all necessary departments and personnel as required
- Explore new ways of opportunities to increase delivery quality and outcome satisfaction
- Support and contribute to training programmes to implement new business models, processes, systems and applications
Skills & experience required
Must have:
- At least 8 years’ experience in an IT business analyst role
- Proven experience in successfully delivering IT Systems services or products
- Prior experience in end to end delivery of projects in Agile and waterfall
- Excellent communication skills
- Stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to have:
- A tertiary degree in Information System or Business Administration
- Structured understanding Project Management approaches, tools and techniques
