With more than enough work coming in, we have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to come in, take control and further build the civil engineering discipline of the business.
The Role:
Reporting in to the Director, this role will be responsible for the entirety of the civil engineering projects from business development through to completion of the projects. Working on a growing pipeline of industrial and brownfield projects will keep you engaged due to the complex nature of the assignments. With a team of civil drafters working on projects with you, this role will also have a strong focus on project management and being on site where required.
Key Responsibilities In This Position Includes:
- Project management of residential, commercial, and industrial projects through to completion
- Civil engineering design (Civil 3d)
- Liaising with Auckland Council and other external stakeholders
- Tendering for new business within the market
- Contract negotiation
About You:
Ideally you will be CPEng qualified and have 5+ years of civil engineering experience either as a freelancer or within an established consultancy. With your strong technical knowledge, you’re now looking to take the next step in your career, whether it be running complex projects or managing a team. You will have passion and energy and as a person with exceptional attention to detail, you always ensure the quality of your work is of the highest standard.
