About the Role
As the Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across cloud architecture, infrastructure, automation, security, and operational excellence. You'll work closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and resilient cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to the cloud.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments, optimise performance, availability, and cloud spend.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Implement cloud security controls and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across cloud initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience delivering cloud migration and modernisation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
- 6-month contract with an immediate start, likely extension
