We are seeking proven media advisors for fast paced and high-volume reactive media response work within the public sector.
These fixed term roles are best suited to those who have proven experience in media response - you may be an advisor, senior advisor or principal advisor - but media will be your game.
To succeed in these roles, aside from working within media, you will need:
- An understanding of the public sector and machinery of government.
- High EQ and sound judgement
- Experience working to senior internal stakeholders
- Proven experience working in a reactive environment and handling media cases that are political, complex, and require a very fast turnaround
- An excellent risk radar
- A collaborative team approach
- A great sense of humour
There is an after-hours (not 24/7) component to this work as well, this comes with an attractive allowance component to the remuneration package.
These roles are currently fixed term until the end of 2026 and may become permanent for the right person.
