Senior Data Engineer

 

• Data Engineer (Snowflake & DBT)
• Auckland (North Shore)
• 6-month contract

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help design and build data solutions using Snowflake and DBT. You’ll work closely with business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data pipelines. This is a 6- month contract where you will be working with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, design source-to-target mappings ready for data migration and build ETL pipelines. Ideally you will have data modelling experience and will have large data transformation project experience.

To be considered you must have:

 

• Prior experience in data engineering/ETL roles

• Snowflake
• DBT
• ETL development
• Good SQL skills (Snowflake preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS, with a preference for AWS)
• Experience with data ingestion and migration
