We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator, who is passionate about data and enjoys working in a data focused team.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience as DBA managing production databases, specifically IBM Db2 Database on Linux
- Working knowledge and experience with MS SQL
- Experience or certification deploying and administering databases to the cloud (preferably Azure) is an advantage
- Query optimisation and performance tuning
- Exposure to database upgrades and migration to cloud
- Exposure to scripting and pipelines
- Experience or certification in Cloud Based Technologies (AWS / Azure) will be an advantage
- Infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Unix or Windows
- A working knowledge of Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban) is desirable
