We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to help support the management of our client’s database platform. The ideal candidate will do this by providing database services incorporating best practice design, development, delivery, and maintenance of database solutions to meet business needs.
This includes effectively providing technical advice to support development, implementations, maintenance, support production and building effective relationships with key contacts to enable successful implementation of technical strategies.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience as Database Administrator designing, developing, and managing production databases
- In-depth working knowledge and experience with MS SQL. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to multiple database platforms.
- Previous experience or certification in Cloud Based Technologies (AWS / Azure)
- Query optimization and performance tuning and Database upgrades and migration to Cloud
- Scripting and Pipelines using Terraform, groovy and similar languages.
- Infrastructure knowledge in Windows and Linux/Unix
