With a solid pipeline ahead, they are now seeking a Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial functions from early estimating through to project delivery.
The Role
You will provide commercial leadership across multiple residential projects, ensuring accuracy, financial control, and strong supplier and subcontractor relationships.
Responsibilities include:

Completing job estimates, tenders, and pricing analysis

Procuring, letting, and managing subcontracts

Managing progress claims, variations, and payment schedules

Overseeing financial reporting, budgets, and cost control

Supplier negotiation and relationship management

Providing commercial advice across the wider business

Conducting site visits during construction to support delivery teams
Your background:
You will bring:
-
10+ years’ experience in density residential quantity surveying
-
Strong knowledge of the NZ Building Code, NZ Building Standards, and contract forms including NZS 3910, ETC, and 3915
-
A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
-
Strong financial acumen and advanced pricing/estimating system capability

Drive, ambition, and a desire to build a long‑term career within a respected national builder
Salary: $140K – $170K + benefits
