A great opportunity to have a pivotal role in ensuring that people are provided with clear, relevant HR, ER and H&S advice, information and other relevant support. This is a new HR Advisor role located in South Auckland.
Specifically:
- Employee Relations expertise
- HR Advisory
- H&S guidelines
Day to day you could expect to work on:
- Help ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
- Drafting/reviewing employment contracts
- ER/HR advice relating to restructuring, performance management, disciplinaries, absenteeism, staffing etc.
- Assist in the development of new, relevant HR/ER/H&S policies/processes
- Provide training and support
- Reporting
This role requires strong ER expertise as well as good HR generalist knowledge. A comprehensive understanding of NZ employment law is critical to the role. Ability to learn new things quickly and exceptional communication skills required.
