and is responsible for:
- Partnering with General Managers, Operations Managers, and Project Leaders to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose HR solutions
- Leading end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning across the portfolio
- Managing employee relations matters with confidence, care, and strong legislative understanding
- Coaching leaders on performance, engagement, and change initiatives
- Supporting organisational change and national people programs
- Developing and embedding practical HR tools, policies, and frameworks
- Championing HEB’s Health & Safety culture through visible leadership and site engagement
- Driving continuous improvement, always looking for better ways to support our people
We are ideally looking for an experienced, operational HR professional who is comfortable working alongside leaders in fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environments.
The successful candidate will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in an operational HR or HR Business Partner role
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation
- Proven capability managing employee relations matters end-to-end
- The ability to influence, challenge, and support leaders with credibility
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with a strong delivery mindset
