Opportunity for an experienced HRBP to support National projects
and is responsible for:

• Partnering with General Managers, Operations Managers, and Project Leaders to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose HR solutions
• Leading end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning across the portfolio
• Managing employee relations matters with confidence, care, and strong legislative understanding
• Coaching leaders on performance, engagement, and change initiatives
• Supporting organisational change and national people programs
• Developing and embedding practical HR tools, policies, and frameworks
• Championing HEB’s Health & Safety culture through visible leadership and site engagement
• Driving continuous improvement, always looking for better ways to support our people

We are ideally looking for an experienced, operational HR professional who is comfortable working alongside leaders in fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environments.

The successful candidate will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in an operational HR or HR Business Partner role
• A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation
• Proven capability managing employee relations matters end-to-end
• The ability to influence, challenge, and support leaders with credibility
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with a strong delivery mindset

Experience within construction, infrastructure, or other blue-collar environments would be highly advantageous, along with exposure to dispersed or project-based operations. This role is Auckland based - Wiri with an ability to work in the office Monday to Friday and travel when needed (North Island mostly day trips)
