The role works with the Manager Management Accounting to support the organisation managers with budgeting, management accounting reporting, analysis, financial forecasting, and providing other management accounting services in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
The role will up to 5 months contract, while permanent recruitment is underway
  • Co-ordinate and develop the budgets for assigned branches / regions ensuring budgets are accurate and robust and where there are gaps in information, that these are caveated.
  • Acting as an advocate for assigned Business Units on financial matters as required
  • Provide a financial advisory role to assigned business units
  • Review and analyse financial performance of business units & expenditure codes, including variance analysis & forecasting outturns
  • Train & up-skill personnel in FMIS systems & on financial management as and when required
  • Prepare financial reports and commentaries for managers
  • Write Board papers if required

Essential skills and experience include:
  • Advanced levels of computer literacy, including Excel
  • Significant experience in effective internal stakeholder management
  • Advanced understanding of a budgeting forecasting and reporting systems.
  • Be self-managing, motivated and use initiative
