I am currently recruiting for a reputable Financial organisation, who are looking for an experienced Senior Manager (Management Assurance) to join their team. This role reports directly to the Head of Management Assurance and plays a key role in fulfilling the requirements of first line of accountability.
Duties Include:
- Facilitate the monthly of the Management Assurance reporting for the business unit and escalation of information to Senior Leadership
- Load and report incidents, assessing root cause and remediation escalation as required
- Ensure all risks and controls are identified, documented, assessed, managed and reported - leading from the front at all times
- Provide assurance that appropriate processes are in place to implement and monitor adherence to agreed risk appetite limites
- Maintain a comprehensive register of all current and emerging risks (both internal and external)
- Develop action plans to address weaknesses in the control environment and ensure these are executed effectively
Desired Experience:
- 7 years in a relevant and similar position within Financial services
- Practical exposure to the full range of the operational risk toolkit, including managing the risk framework, compliance, analysis and reporting
- Prior experience in successfully applying the elements of the risk management life cycle within a business/project management context
- Customer needs focussed, credible, with a strong background in influencing senior leadership
