  • Provide intellectual leadership and mentor junior staff.
  • Contribute to cross-agency and cross-sector projects that align with broader government priorities.
We’re looking for candidates with:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in policy, economics, finance, law, or a related analytical field.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of public policy frameworks and the machinery of government.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable policy outcomes.
  • Intellectual curiosity, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
Why Apply?
This is more than a job – it’s a chance to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of New Zealand. You’ll enjoy:
  • A strong focus on professional development and career growth.
  • A diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Opportunities to work on high-impact, meaningful projects.
  • A supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and wellbeing.
