Senior Payroll Administrator

We are seeking the services of an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join the Finance team at a well-established corporate. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this role is best suited to someone who is experienced in complex payroll environments, capable of managing high volumes and confident working across multiple employment agreements and arrangements. The main purpose of the role is to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll in accordance to legislative requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for 500+ employees
  • Preparing of various reports
  • Provide interpretation of legislation and policies
  • Loading and updating of employee details
  • Maintain accurate data filing
  • Assisting with adhoc tasks and special projects

To be successful you must:

  • Have experience working in a NZ based, fast paced, high volume driven payroll environment
  • Have a strong understanding of NZ legislation
  • Be commercially savvy
  • Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain high standards under pressure
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
  • Work as part of a collaborative team
  • Ideally have exposure to Payglobal or other large-scale systems
