I am currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Advisor, for a role with a public sector client. We are looking for a Payroll Advisor, who has strong end-to-end experience and knowledge of NZ Payroll legislation. The successful candidate, will use their experience to manage external and internal relationships with Payroll providers, as well as advise on process and Payroll issues.
Other Duties Include:
- Provide advice to Payroll providers on issues regarding NZ Payroll legislation, policy and collective agreements
- Lead and contribute expertise to projects, where Payroll is required/influenced by change
- Assist with effective management of payroll issues, escalated to the Senior Advisor in a timely fashion
- Work with Payroll providers to ensure the effective implementation of changes in legislative and contractual Payroll requirements
We Are Looking For:
- A senior Payroll Advisor, with 5+ years experience in an end-to-end Payroll environment
- Strong experience with and up-to-date knowledge of the Holidays Act and other NZ legislation
- A love of problem-solving and ability to develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
