You’ll play a key role in shaping procurement practices, strengthening systems and processes, and supporting the business to deliver better commercial outcomes. This is an opportunity to move beyond transactional procurement and help embed best practice across a complex organisation.
Key responsibilities:
You’ll be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and delivery across:
- Procurement strategy & planning – contributing to annual planning, spend analysis, and strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Policy & process uplift – reviewing and enhancing procurement frameworks, templates, and systems in line with best practice.
- Contract & supplier management – leading negotiations, performance management, and ongoing supplier engagement.
- Advisory & capability building – supporting stakeholders to improve procurement maturity and decision-making.
- Project delivery – managing procurement projects and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
You’ll be an experienced procurement professional who is confident operating at a senior level and comfortable balancing strategy with delivery.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in contract and supplier management, including negotiations and performance oversight.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation
- The ability to work autonomously with sound judgement in complex environments
- A high level of professionalism, organisation, and communication capability
- Experience in the public sector, exposure to government procurement frameworks, or relevant qualifications will be advantageous.
- Salary package up to $135,000 (flexible depending on experience)
