My client is a large public sector organisation with a significant volume of construction and infrastructure projects currently in place. Due to this volume, there is currently a requirement for an experienced Procurement specialist for the follow activities:
- Develop procurement plans, develop the requirements, criteria and weightings
- Lead and provide advice and feedback on the development of tenders, evaluation methodologies, market approaches, planning and contract award of procurement opportunities
- Ensure procurement activities align with the Government Procurement Rules
- Populate documents, tender response forms and draft contracts.
- Publish tender information on GETS respond to suppliers queries
- Organise tender evaluation panel and facilitate evaluation to ensure responses are fit for purpose.
- Stakeholder management throughout process
Ideally you will have experience within infrastructure and/or construction along with an understanding of the government procurement guidelines. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience and experience across end-to-end procurement across construction/infrastructure.
