Our client in the government sector is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator for a contract through till September 2019!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of the projects
  • Assist Project Manager to ensure that all project milestones are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Suggest strategies of achieving the project goals to the owners
  • Maintain Project Schedule and Budget tracking documentation
  • Track and analyse projects’ performance and expenditures and report about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows and deficits
  • Work with team on project work to keep project going according to schedule
  • Communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Track and analyse project performance, cost performance, schedule and report to the Project Manager on the changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs, be able to suggest the improvements to all the above
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Assist and support the Project Manager in their daily duties
  • Track, analyse and communicate project risks and opportunities
  • Maintain Project Risks and Issues Register
  • Assist in coordinating projects from inception to completion.

  • Project development experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Expertise in executing what the project requires and meeting the needs of the project
  • Good communication, written and spoken skills
  • Proficiency in analysing and solving problems related to projects
  • Outstanding human relation skills evident in the ability to work with the team
  • Strong ability to give attention to details, as well as tested organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge and prowess in using modern information and communication technologies to projects
  • Ability to be proactive and independent, and to be interdependent on the team
