About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for facilitating successful project outcomes, assisting a team in keeping a variety of projects on track and ensuring project pipeline for application development runs smoothly. You will have strong business process and IT development delivery experience. A background in delivering Financial Services projects an advantage.
Skills Required:
- Agile PM
- Primary responsibility for planning, implementation, management, and control of projects globally
- Defining, implementing, refining and managing project management governance controls that implement processes for managing the key gates during the project lifecycle
- Run projects from inception and develop them into a mature and comprehensive project plans capable of being implemented
- Agile project management
- Experience of managing projects of work for Jira based projects
- Experience in projects which have delivered Microsoft .Net multi-tier Web based IT solutions
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Understanding of project and program management methodologies
- Experience in the world financial markets (Investment banking, hedge funds, derivatives and back office functions) is an advantage
- Hands on Technical skills (basic SQL, Excel Macro Language, etc)
- Experience with SharePoint and Confluence
- BA experience
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder skills
