This project management firm has an excellent reputation in the construction market and is known for delivering high profile projects to both the public and private sector. Due to strategy setting for this consultancy, there is now a requirement for a superior project director level candidate with the ability to drive business growth and deliver horizontal infrastructure projects.
The focus will be working with large government clients such as Kiwirail, WCC, NZTA, Wellington Water that have exciting projects that are in the early planning stages which require the needed skills, experience and capability projects. These waterfront developments such as seismic upgrades to sea walls, pier extensions, new public spaces, cycleways, and associated water and wastewater upgrades/pump stations, and rail.
As a Senior PM in this space, you will need to come from a construction consultancy and/or civil contractor background with proven experience on horizontal infrastructure projects including rail (ideal) and roading, water, civil spaces covering such areas as design management, project management, project planning, procurement and contract administration and construction management.
We are looking for applicants with 10 - 20 years of experience with a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
