Our client is based in Auckland and have several exciting upcoming. projects.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Property Acquisition Manager to join their Property Team.


About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to deliver the property acquisition programme for the Auckland region.
This role focuses on ensuring:

• that property is acquired for Auckland region projects in line with the project budget and programme
• acquisition is completed in accordance with relevant guidelines and law
• our external suppliers are delivering the performance standards required from their acquisition contracts

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in the purchase of property for Crown use including an in depth understanding of the Public Works Act 1981 and related Crown policy.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or related property role (e.g. valuation, consultancy, property management etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large property programmes or projects, with well-developed MS Project or similar programme skills.
• Demonstrated skills in communication, leading, influencing, collaborating and building credibility across a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills to manage multi-party issues and/or difficult relationships in a diplomatic and empathetic manner, including an awareness of associated political and reputational risk.
