This is a long-standing design and build construction company that have tackled a range of projects across many categories, in the $5M - $30M range. They have a team of QS’s offering a clear plan of development from junior through senior with exposure to varying technical areas through a variety of projects. They have stood the test of time and seen several booms and bust construction periods. They are actively participating in the tender market but have range of regular clients that offer repeat business.
Currently they have a need for an experienced QS to provide support across existing projects and new projects.
Key components of this role involve:
- Scheduling/estimating
- Tender preparation and analysis
- Building consents
- Bills of quantities
- Cost management
- Subcontractor management
- Progress claims and assessing variations
You are an experienced quantity surveyor of at least 6+ years coming from a main contractor or a hybrid of PQS/main contractor with a relevant tertiary degree. You are practical, are commercial, have an eye for detail, are adaptable and can confidently liaise across a range of stakeholders.
This role offers a salary $140K - $160K with further benefits and access to ongoing professional development.
