A highly regarded main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to perform a self-managing senior QS role for a large-scale project in the pipeline.

The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring robust cost control and delivering strong financial outcomes across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project budgets, costs, and financial reporting
- Assessing and certifying subcontractor claims and progress payments
- Pricing, negotiating, and managing variations
- Preparing and agreeing subcontractor final accounts
- Monitoring procurement and contract administration processes
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Providing accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management
- Supporting the project team to achieve both commercial and operational success
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 8+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a main contractor environment
- Experience delivering new-build construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor accounts and variations
- Excellent commercial acumen and financial management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
