They are currently looking for a Senior QS to run a $30M beinmg responsible for all financial aspects.
This is a role that reports to the commercial manager and will be wide in duties and responsibilities.
The main responsibility will to ensure that projects are managed from a financial delivery perspective and to assist keeping everyone informed of set budgets, variances and timeframes. Being able to maintain accurate records and improves systems is also important if this necessitates.
We are looking for a tertiary qualified QS with at least 10 years of experience in the Auckland market ideally. Your strengths are in being able to forecast and control project budgets and financials, building and managing relationships particularly subcontractors and consultants and exercising initiative and being able to pre-empt projects cots. Your experience will be across a range of larger new builds, refurbishments, and broad commercial projects.
You will have an less experienced staff under you, so mentoring and their development is essential.
Remuneration: Salary $160K - $180K
