The organisation is a major NZ government agency with offices dotted around the world. They maintain a large, complex IT site.
About the role:

You will be managing the performance of the server business applications and database systems to ensure their optimum availability

Provide support to ensure system reliability is maintained
-
Provide technical advice and support for other teams as required, particularly within the Service Delivery Unit
Skills & experience required
-
10+ years’ experience in an ICT operational environment at a senior level
-
A tertiary and/or industry qualification in information technology such as MCTS, MCITP, MCP, MCSA, MCSE is desirable or equivalent industry experience

Expert in-depth core skills and experience with SharePoint technologies on premise and cloud-hosted, at a platform and application management level

Demonstrated experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in an enterprise-wide environment

A good understanding of MSSQL, SQL Reporting Services and SQL monitoring tools experience as well as experience in maintaining SQL databases

Experience with PowerShell scripting

You will be a natural leader who is comfortable working with a wide range of technical and business stakeholders
