Our client has a number of activities that it needs to complete to meet the legal compliance requirements of the New Zealand Revenue Acts. This includes the completion and filing of PAYE, FBT, GST and income tax returns. The Senior Taxation Accountant will manage the preparation of these returns and the balance sheet reconciliations.
Further, there are internal taxation activities that assist the business in ensuring that the group meets it taxation obligations. Taxation advice is provided to Business Units within the Organisation and the Senior Taxation Accountant will be expected to provide tax advice as part of the daily tasks.
It is also expected that the Senior Taxation Accountant will build and retain business relationships with Business Units within the organisation to become a trusted partner providing sort after advice.
