- $65,000-75,000 per annum (experience dependent)
- Wellington based, with work-from-home flexibility
- Fixed-Term until March 2023
Looking for a Senior Transactions Officer for this is a public sector organization that prides itself on putting their energy into protecting and enhancing our Wellington region. This role reports to the Transactions Team Leader and works closely with the transactional services team. The role involves regular contact with several internal and external stakeholders.
Other Duties Include:
- Manage Flexipurchase inbox and clear emails on timely manner
- Manage the card limits and temporary limits as per the P-Card Policy
- Running reports and following up cardholders to code and approve transactions
- Assist the Accounts payable Officers and other teams throughout the organization
- Process Vendors, TA’s payment, and Payroll runs as per timelines
- Assist in identifying unallocated payments received and liaise with the Accounts Receivable
What We Are Looking For:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics (preferred)
- A sound knowledge of financial systems (preferably TechOne)
- Previous experience working with spreadsheets, accounting, and transaction processing
- Someone who can work independently while recognizing when to seek advice and help
- A positive outlook and desire to continually improve processes and relationships
- Computer literate, competent in the major Microsoft suite e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
