This role will work across various homes with overall responsibility for the effective delivery of a quality service through the management of day to day running of allocated services (whether residential or vocational). This includes the professional leadership, guidance and management of staff teams and being responsible for effective management of resources.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff
- Create and communicate the business plan for service delivery
- Deliver quality service outcomes
- Provide knowledge and advise to staff
- Setting clear expectations for staff
- Coordinating the professional day to day running of services
- A proven ability to lead, coach and support a team
- Similar industry experience- eg health, aged care, disability, hospice
- Excellent communication in both written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal skills and resilience
- Relationship management
- Mangement of positive change
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Basic financial management ability
You will need a clean NZ drivers licence, and a minimum or 3-5 years in a similar role and /or a relevant qualification.
