Job Description
A successful commercial interiors and light commercial contractor has secured a steady pipeline of repeat business from long-standing clients and is looking to add a capable Site Manager to their delivery team.
Operating across a diverse range of projects including interiors, new builds, and reinstatement works this business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes and exceptional client service.
Due to upcoming project commitments, they are seeking a Site Manager to help deliver several projects valued under $10M across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager and wider project team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day site activities from commencement through to completion
- Supervise and direct subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Monitor programme milestones and ensure works remain on schedule
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site compliance
- Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve successful project outcomes
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail across all project stages
About You
- Trade qualified and/or hold a relevant construction-related qualification
- Proven experience in a Site Manager role within commercial interiors or commercial construction
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
- Commercially aware with a strong sense of accountability
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand health and safety requirements
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality projects
