This is a quality mid size contractor with a long history of operation and proven performance over the years. They have some key clients providing regular new build work plus they are part of the tender market as well. They are a contractor that has a strong commitment to developing their staff and provide strong promotional opportunitues for their staff based on performance.
They are now looking for a site manager that has the capacity to manage a number of small to medium sized jobs for their regular clients which could include retail, restaurants, light commercial, residential. Contract values may range from $2M - $10M.
Reporting to a PM, the role would include:
- Ordering materials
- Setting up sites and managing various types of construction sites
- Site meetings and supervising work of sub contractors
- Ensuring work is being completed within set budgets and target deadlines
- Health & Safety
- Assisiting in contracts management
Your background:
You will have a trade qualification and at least 6 years site management experience which could on builds from $2K to $10M. You are well organised and can drive subcontractors to complete works. You are a keen problem solver and have a knack of making things happen in all circumstances.
Salary $110K - $120K + vehicle
