About the Role
If you are a leader that has a growth mindset, and values innovation but is also results orientated, keep reading. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced people leader/manager with a technical background to join our Gallagher Security division. You will be leading a team that deals with the ongoing development of hardware products for a world-leading Access Control system.
About you:
- 4+ years’ experience leading software development teams.
- Experience working in large and complex organisations.
- 5+ years’ experience in a software development environment.
- Proven experience operating in scaled and distributed new product development environments.
- Don’t mind getting your hands dirty to pitch in every now and again software engineering or software testing.
- An interest or experience in embedded development, Cyber Security and cryptography would be a strong advantage.
Qualifications
- Agile methodologies, qualifications & experience that create and enable impactful change in mindsets, processes and practices, this may include the likes of organisational development, lean/six sigma, adult learning, leadership coaching or similar.
Technology
- Knowledge or experience with embedded C/C++,
- embedded Linux or application software development,
- digital electronics and schematics and
- microprocessor architectures will be an advantage.
