We’re looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join a team delivering meaningful digital solutions across a complex and evolving technology landscape.

About The Role

This is a practical, delivery-focused position- ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the technology, working alongside delivery teams, and designing solutions that actually get built. You’ll play a key role in modernising legacy systems, supporting new builds, and helping shape fit-for-purpose solutions that deliver real outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integration, and cloud
  • Work alongside delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, buildable, and fit-for-purpose
  • Support legacy system modernisation and new solution development
  • Contribute to technical decision-making, balancing speed, quality, and long-term sustainability
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and vendors to support delivery outcomes
  • Adapt quickly in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in solution architecture and/or senior software development
  • Strong hands-on technical background (e.g. .NET, Java, React, or similar)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern application design
  • Experience with low-code platforms (e.g. Power Platform, Appian)
  • Ability to work across both legacy and modern systems
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Why Apply
  • Permanent role with long-term impact
  • Large-scale, meaningful work
  • Wellington based, hybrid working environment
  • Opportunity for career development
